Dr. Varun Laohaprasit, MD

I’ve been a patient of his for over 10 years. Over that time he has had to operate on my neck and my lower back. He is absolutely the finest and most caring person I have ever met or been associated with.

Dr. Laohaprasit worked on my back two different times and he did an excellent job both times. The first experience was when he spent over two hours working an herniated disc back into the spine after everyone else (8 different doctors) had said it had to be removed. Being an over-active person in the sporting world, it was a miracle. The second time Dr Lao worked on my back, he had just returned from an out-of-town trip, had five operations he had to do on Tuesday, and after visiting with me for 15 minutes and ordering a CAT scan, he went home after the fifth op and returned 60 minutes later to take care of my problem. We were in surgery for over 4 hours and he did a fantastic job. I just have never figured out how to say Thank You for his work! Lao is a FABULOUS DR!!!

Dr. Laohaprasit is a surgeon, so his solution to problems is surgery. In my case, which was a head injury that most likely didn't require surgery, he pushed surgery. I ended up going to another doctor, and I'm just fine.

The doctor is the best. Very nice man however, his staff is rude like the secretary told me no they will not help me. She was nasty to me. I have an appointment tomorrow and that lady best not be rude to me or I might snap!

Four days out from a posterior cervical laminectomy and although it's early I feel worse, completely lost use of my left arm and I and regret having it done. Especially by this doctor. He didn't explain possible outcomes, then the day after surgery he bounced into my room and spent a total of 40 seconds only to explain what I can expect as far as pain. Didn't say anything about possibly losing the use of my arm. And then of course he went on vacation so I won't hear from him for another week. He was thorough during the initial appointment but that was after having spent 2 1/2 hours in the waiting room.

Excellent neurosurgeon. I'm now completely pain free since he performed surgery on my neck a year and a half ago.

His surgery 2 years ago fixed my back pain . I'm still pain free and my back feels better now than it did 20 years ago. I have complete confidence in his skills.

Been in pain for over three years because he botched my spinal fusion surgery and no responsive help whatsoever. Beware!

My operation went perfect, i only have good things to say about the doctor.
