Summary
I am a San Diego native. Despite training elsewhere, I could not dream of practicing anywhere other than my hometown. I knew I wanted to become a physician very early in life because I truly enjoyed the biological sciences and I knew that I wanted to help people. I met the well-known early HIV sufferer Ryan White in grade school, and from that point on I wanted to dedicate my life to understanding and treating people infected with HIV.
