Dr. Victor Hong, MD

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Hong! I have been a patient of his for years and he has NEVER failed me in any sense. (And I am a difficult case, with a very long psych history.) He is very kind and soft-spoken, he listens intently, truly cares about his patients, is very humble, has a sense of humor, and he is THE BEST psych doc I have ever had. I do not believe a word of any negative review of Dr. Hong. I actually look forward to seeing him. He is a MARVELOUS doctor and I have no plans of leaving him. He is an angel. He has saved my life more than once.

Dr. Hong is a great Doctor who is humble. He listens and answers all of my questions of concerns in regards to my child. I was referred to this practice by my child's pediatrician who I trust and I also trust Doctor Hong. My only complaint are some of the front office staff. Some are rude/arrogant and one time I over heard them talking smack about another patient critiquing their intelligence.

Some of the questions like bedside manor don't really fit but I did not wan't to lower his stars. He is great in every way

I found Dr. Hong to be compassionate and someone who listens. My treatment by him has been helpful. He has humor and insight. I recommend him. My only criticism is that sometimes due to work load there is a wait time but it is not usually excessive.

This institute is ridiculous. We had repeatedly told the staff that we needed to be out at a certain time. We wound up waiting for over an hour and a half past our appointment time for our daughter who is seven. After reading some reviews that I had missed the first time around regarding Dr. Hong, I am certainly glad that we left prior to the appointment!! Apparently, he gives out medication to children based on nothing more than a short conversation with the child - and their parents simultaneously!! A woman in the office waiting for another doctor describes him as the one who 'doles out the meds'. This is not someone I want treating my young daughter. Stay away from this doctor, and for that matter, NPI in general. The waiting room itself is quite dirty, and you need the key to use the restroom. Just doesn't leave a good impression.

Dr. Hong has been spot on in diagnosing 2 of my children. The treatments he has prescribed are very conservative and he is very hesitant to even prescribe if an alternative therapy can be successful. I don't see any of the previous postings in this man and we've been going to him for quite a while now. He is very caring and conscientious with my children. I would and have recommended him to anyone in need of help for their child.

This Dr. used to be medical director of Tampa Bay Academy. The State finally had to shut it down. Never let this man near your child.He has a reputation among those who know what the system does to the kids it 'sheltors'.

Victor Hond MD who worked with colleague Dr. Jillian Glass prescribed my baby at the age of 4 1/2 years old a born near death delivery, very yound at 26 weeks gestation, born at a mere weight of one pound, eight ounces at five months tinier than a cell phone who was born and diagnosed with FTT- a weight loss feeding disorder. Dr Hong MD prescribed my baby a"ADULT PSYCHTROPIC DRUG" along with other unprofessional unlicensed Pediatricians A Adult Psych drug, called "LEXAPRO" with no dosage,duration or medical reports given My BABY an ADYLT PSYCH DRUG NOt used for CHILDREN PERIOD! NOT studied or Approved.
