Dr. Phommachanh recently completed his residency in Otolaryngology at the University of South Florida where he benefitted from a very rigorous clinical curriculum. He grew up on the west coast of Florida before attending college at Tulane University on a full academic scholarship. He continued his education at Tulane medical school. A first generation immigrant from Laos, he is very proud of his heritage and how far his family has come in the United States. Dr. Phommachanh is a very family oriented person and his personal interests revolve around spending time with his wife and two young children.

Excellent communication, office staff, really understands the needs of touring performers, extremely high recommend even though it takes ages to get in as a new patient. Clear explanations, couldn't have asked for better.

Listens, cares. Tried when eleven surgeries and 2l other doctors had not improved chronic sinusitis. Removed a plum-sized putrid infection. Works closely with Dr. Fariba Donovan, infectious diseases.

My very first visit, was anxious about having my ears cleaned... prior experience with medical assistants, most uncomfortable. I knew I would not have the same experience with Dr. V. Phommachanh and he did not disappoint. Dr. V. Phommachanh is a wonderful human being, he offers one such a relaxed feeling, you can see the intellect and passion unfold while you interface with this professional. I am so thankful for the referral and I will earnestly recommend him to anyone needing an ENT Doctor. May I add, you'll love the varied staff members, thank you all.

Dr. Phommachanh is a very kind & caring physician. He has an outstanding bedside manner & truly cares about his patients. I have received the best of care and diagnostics in his office. His staff follow the physicians example of caring, compassionate care. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Phommachanh highly. Although his family hails from Laos, Dr. P. speaks unaccented English & even a person who is hard of hearing has no problem understanding this excellent physician.
