Dr. Deems is an intelligent, kind, caring physician who I have seen since 2006 for hearing loss and balance issues. He never gives up. Other doctors told me on the first visit “You’re going to be deaf”. He is informed about the latest research and is able to recommend other physicians to me in other needed specialties. I would recommend him without reservation. If you have a problem waiting, he’s not your man because he spends time with patients and will spend it with you when it’s your turn. His audiologist, Dr. Abbott, is equally as good!

Went to see dr deems after another physician recommended him. Answered all my questions and was an active listener... took the time to hear my concerns and recommended a head and skull specialist that was able to operate on me

I was referred to Dr. Deems from another physician. I had a thyroid nodule that was undetermined for cancer. I was complaining of ear pain and voice changing. Dr. Deems was my third doctor that I had seen about removing it and the other problems I was having. I had been to a general surgeon and another ENT. He was the first one who actually did an exam on me. The other two just looked at the report and gave me their options didn't even address my other concerns. Dr. Deems look at my ears and throat. He explain to me the ear pain I was having and how to resolve it. I have TMJ which my dentist has agree with. Also the voice change was related to GERD. He gave me information on a diet to follow which has helped. He also gave me medicine for my allergies. A nasal spray which has been a life saver! I did have a little wait on my first visit, but he took his time with me and was not rush at all. I did have surgery, had the left side of the thyroid removed. The surgery… went great. I had no pain after surgery it was amazing. Dr. Deems has a great bed side matter. He is to the point and does what he say he will do. I would highly recommend Dr. Deems.

If waiting is going to get you mad......Here's the trick. Call half an hour before your appointment and find out how far behind he is. He will spend whatever amount of time he needs with you and the patient before you. He did a radical neck dissection, removed my jugular and hardly a scar. Really cares about his patients.

Dr Deems is a very professional doctor that takes time with his patients. He performed a thyroidectomy on me several years ago. My scar is so minimal you can hardly notice it.

What a waste of my time, waited a hour and a half to see him, he loves to hear himself talk. Acted like he could care less about what I had to say about my ailment (the reason I was there) he just wanted to hear his own voice over and over and over. I had some work related paper work which he would not even look at, so I was stuck without completing forms my boss suggested I have filed out. The whole experience left me unsettled. I had seen him once before a few years ago for some general exam stuff and I saw his other office Doctor just a few months before, his other office Doctor was useless and that's why I had to come back.

Dr. Deems and his nurse are exceptional. His office staff on the other hand are rude and not knowledgeable on insurance coverages. We continue to see Dr. Deems because he's very, very good, but if it wasn't for him, I would definitely not suggest it because of the staff.

Dr Deems take what ever time you need to be comfortable with what your problem is. A 1 bedside manner, a true humanistic person. He explains things in easy to understand language.
