Dr. Vinay Chaudhry

This doc seems entitled and doesn't listen. Only wants to churn out more patients. I would never recommend him to anyone.

I found Dr. Chaudhry to be very thorough in his examination and clear in his explanations. His approach was very holistic. He ordered additional tests he thought were required. He also referred me to a neurological surgeon at Johns Hopkins to get an additional independent opinion. In addition, I found his staff to be extremely helpful and responsive. His bedside manner was excellent.

Rushed through the entire visit. Doctor wasn’t anxious to listen or answer questions. Then the follow up is scheduled ... in nine months. “Sorry we don’t have anything sooner!”. Waste of my time.z

I am now walking and driving a car. Before being treated by Dr. Chauhdry at a large hospital in Arlington, VA, I was a patient there for 2 weeks and then sent off to a nursing home for another 2. I was never given the appropriate tests to determine I had GBS/CIDP. Once transferred to Hopkins, Dr. Chauhdry knew what I had and began treatment. My condition was so severe that I had to live there for almost 7 months. Dr. Chauhdry was attentive the whole time and the 5+ year since. It was not thought that I would ever be able to get out of wheel chair, but I am now. I receive regular treatments at Hopkins. He carefully monitors each treatment. He returns calls almost immediately. When a family member had a stroke, he helped us find the right Hopkins doctor. He is very kind and caring. I truly believe I would not be alive had he not been my doctor. He is a brilliant jewel!
