Dr. Vincent John Marmo, DO

My husband was experiencing atypical angina and almost discharged from Christiana's ED. Dr. Marmo chose to kep him saying he couldn't quite put his fingeron what was going on but something didn't seem right. A day later the insurance company was pushing for discharge, with a stress test as an put patient. Again Dr. Marmo asked us to trust him, something wasn't right. Thankfully we did. The following day I watched my husband turn grey and collapse during his stress test, later learning in a cardiac cath he had a 99% obstruction in the wodow maker" and blockages in 3 other arteries in his heart. He received a stint and 4 years later he is healthy. Dr. Marmo's insticts were dead on, and he saved my hisband. Newly diagnosed with A-fib, my father is now also a patient of Dr. Marmo's. We know he's in thebest hands.

I am 88 years of age. I have met many doctors in my life time. Dr Marmo is one of the finest. He always has time to talk with me, answer questions and in general, reminds me of the old time doctors who had time for patients. What more can I say

My sister who was screened for cardiac problems at Columbia in NYC and NJ and deemed not a candidate for an invasive procedure, was seen by Dr Marmo and cleared for cardiac surgey, she died a month later. He was unwilling to release her from the cardiac unit to hospice stating she wasn't a candidate, we insisted, she came home after spending a month in a geri chair at Christiana (Nursing staff was outstanding) , and died at home two days later. His rudeness to us was amazing . In one month the only person he gave an update to was my husband a surgeon from NY who called him. Don't put your life in this man's hands
