Dr. Setya’s Initial exam was gentle, caring, and professional. He provided all of my options, and recommended the best inhuman hernia repair procedure. His staff is excellent. This man is first rate. He explained recovery timelines, processes, etc. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Arrogant. I am a woman and was sent to him for a complex problem. He is not interested in anything complex. His staff did most of the work. Spends very little time with you. Very short and dismissive. Curt. Would never recommend him. I find it odd that a hospital would have someone on staff who deals with cancer patients who has such a horrid manner about him.

I am shocked to read the bad reviews on Dr Setya. He is a very caring general surgeon and extremely talented. I had a hernia surgery performed by him which went well. He spent a lot of time with me and answered all my questions. I would highly recommend him.

I was scheduled for a needle apiration biopsy, in which I brought ALL of the mammogams and ultrasounds. After he reviewed my films, he performed a physical examination of my breats that I deemed unneeded, since it was an ultrasound guided biopsy to be performed.He then proceeded to have me get dressed without even performing the procedure that I had been referred to him for. VERY DISSATISFIED!!!!

I have been under Dr. Setya's care for the last six years and I could not be more pleased with the care he has provided. He is extremely knowledgeable, very thorough, and has an excellent bedside manner. He is a great listener and has wonderful follow-up. I always feel like I am his top priority and have never felt rushed even though I know he is an extremely busy person. He is the absolute best and I am so very fortunate to be under his care!

the reason why I only gave him what I did for caring was because after my surgery he did not prescribe any type of pain medications.

Dr. Setya truly cares about his patients. He is a skilled general surgeon who always puts the patient first. During my surgical career as a nurse I have seen him do a few hundred operations. I highly recommend him. He is very protective of his patients. There are only a hand full of surgeons that are as dedicated as he is.
