Quite a while ago our boy was born with a condition the hospital hadn't dealt with before. He had exploratory surgery in a different hospital, but he wound up in LPCH's NICU (cared for by amazing nurses), still tethered to tubes and electrodes. Things only stabilized when Dr. Bhutani brought us together with the team of clinicians so we could share observations about what conditions seemed to trigger our boy's critical events and ideas about how to keep him stable. The team tried these suggestions, making adjustments as we saw the results, and it worked. We finally took our boy home and kept him stable until he could outgrow the condition a couple years later. He is a wonderful, smart, strong boy now. Thank you, Dr. Bhutani!

After a frustrating series of neonatologists coming on staff, we were fortunate to meet Dr. Bhutani at the IICN at LPCH, Stanford. He is an exceptional physician with the best bedside manner I have ever encountered over many years of various doctors appointments.
