Dr. Vivek J Goswami, MD

Be aware that he will order a "Vascular Screen" that his office says has no insurance CPT code, so you have to pay the $115 out of pocket no matter how good your insurance is!! (They won't even apply to your ins. co. for it, even though they took my ins. info.) Also, his patient treatment is condescending. Office staff will rush you through their paperwork, and give short explanations. Extremely disappointed in overall treatment in my 60+ years of going to doctors.

The appointment started off poorly- Dr. Goswami did not introduce himself, nor did he acknowledge the other people in the room (spouse). I felt judged from the get-go, he seemed to have made assumptions about my lifestyle and health from the moment he saw me. He talked without allowing room for questions for 15 minutes straight, then seemed annoyed when I finally got a question in. When I asked for some clear goals for how to improve my situation, he gave vague generalized answers like "eat better." He came across as condescending, judgmental, and rude. I came to him because I have a health problem and I wanted help to get better; and left feeling downtrodden and judged.

He seems to care more about money than his patients. Would not recommend.

I had my heart checked with Dr. Goswami after a routine visit to an allergist revealed I had a heart murmur. Dr. Goswami identified my problem, provided guidance and counseling and was professional, straight forward and supportive regarding my heart condition. His whole team made me feel comfortable and relaxed even though my diagnosis was 'alarming' for me. I thank Dr. Goswami for his thorough knowledge as a cardiologist - it was a life saving experience.

Dr. Goswami truly cares about his patients overall health. He doesn't seem too busy to take time and listen. I came in with a lot of questions and a heart beat that I couldn't really explain. He is definitely not just dismissing my concerns. I feel anyone needing a cardiologist would be in great hands coming here.

I have been a patient of Dr. Goswami for about 2 years now. Dr.Goswami is patient and is easy to talk to. He explains everything. He spends time with his patients and answers your questions. His staff is also excellent. Never had a problem there. I highly recommend Dr. Goswami to all.

I enjoyed being treated like a human being and not just a person in a room. A Doctor and Staff that is informed before a patient steps in the room shows me they care and are an efficient team. More time was given in eye to eye contact and sharing information and last but not least the diagnosis. Clean and organised and everyone working together to make a wonderful team with the goal of what is best for the patient. I could tell that the influence of the Doctor's training was a great success.

I arrived 20 minutes before my scheduled appointment and was greeted promptly. The doctors care actually started10 to five minutes before the scheduled time. It was timely efficient appointment and I am pleased with the care I was given.

This doctor is focused on patient care. He took the time to answer all questions and map out a proactive approach to maximize available tools to deal with my condition.
