He was very pleasant and showed interest in me and my health. Very thorough in getting history and deciding proper treatment. We drive 1.45 hours one way to see him. One of the best doctors ever seen!

Dr. Manuel has been my primary care physician for 2 years and he's absolutely terrific. He's been right on every time and he really cares. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Manuel started to see me after my good doctor retired. He had my records.I have cancer...never once did he refer me to another doctor.....just kept treating me for the money since I dont have insuranceHe took me off my pills after 20 years of pain medication and did not talk to me about withdrawal. Just threw me away like an animal.Emotional distress people

I was having difficulty breathing and, after a night at the hospital and a series or expensive tests, I was released with an "all testing is normal," go to your doctor for follow up. The problem continued on and off and I felt very sick. I went to Dr. Manuel's office. After an examination and a few questions, Dr. Manuel diagnosed "acid indigestion" and gave me medication for it. He was the first one to tell me what's wrong. I recovered well after he treated me. Dr. Manuel is kind, friendly and treats you like a human being he even hugged me because I was so distraught! After a first time visit, I thought that was great. His office staff is wonderful, friendly, kind and understanding. I would recommend Dr. Manuel as an accurate diagnostician, very efficient and professional individual.

I felt that Dr Manuel was more concerned with keeping my appointment to one hour than in my needs as a patient. Fortunately my needs were minimal as this was only my annual exam. I found the exam imcomplete at best and painful when there should not have been any pain.Consequently my family is still looking for a caring family practice doctor, and will avoid UCLA Healthcare and its factory approach to medicine. Can UCLA really afford to lose customers
