I was scheduled with Dr. Smith for a Veteran's C and P exam to determine my disability rating. I refused the original exam, because it was a phone/video type, with a Dr. in Huntsville, Alabama, so I called VES and requested an in person so I could speak face to face with the examiner. Upon the first greeting, Dr. Smith made me feel comfortable. She informed me as to how the exam procedure would work, and said if I had any questions, comments or concerns I would have time at the end. I was surprised as to how well she knew my V.A records. She listen intently to me, and there was absolutely NO JUDGEMENT on her part towards me. If you are within 100 miles of Montgomery, Alabama, REQUEST Dr. Smith. One more thing. My exam was on 9/18/2024, and the V.A. Rating department received the results on 9/19/2024!!!!!

It's about time someone listen. She was a very good listener and she understood my pain. She made recommendations that felt well with my spirit. After my visit with her. I feel like going on.
