Extremely grateful and truly can't thank him enough for his expertise, quality compassionate care and saving our son's life. While a thank you doesn't feel like enough, we hope posting on sites like these shows the magnitude and impact this physician has Just amazing.

The best around. He is a gifted teacher and a bedside genius. He acts fast when the going gets tough and coordinates with his colleagues quickly and with respect. Definitely one of the best ER doctors in the Chicagoland area whose breath of experience is unmatched in the ER. We love this doctor and we cannot say how lucky we are that he has stayed in the Chicagoland community. We are blessed. I am a fireman's wife and a teacher and I know how Dr. Ahmad takes care of us middle class folks. He gives us outstanding care. I have told him to write a book about his experiences and one day if he ever reads this he hopefully will. Just simply the best !!!!

He saves lives. He has seen some of the most Covid-19 patient's in the Chicagoland area. He is a true American Hero. Has saved many lines when many other doctors have done nothing. He gave me a cocktail of meds that saved my life!!! This doctor's legacy will live on for generations. Thank You for saving my life. My little kids and wife thank you.

This doctor provided care for my family and I had one of my best experiences. He has been a front line provider during this pandemic and he is looking out for all of us. He has excellent bedside manner and just loves what he does shows. He cares for everyone and has great clinical acumen. He truly is a great leader in his field .

True Hero. Saves Lives During the Pandemic. Treats patients like family. Also really helps and treats First Responders and Puts them at the front of the line. A man of respect and integrity. My family absolutely loves this doctor. May he always be the true American hero and continue to do God's work.

Well Done. Great Bedside Manner

Dr. Ahmad is one of our best physicians in the Emergency Room. He takes care of his patients and is one of the best supervising doctors I have seen in my 28 years as a nurse. He has no control over the wait times that people have to wait in the ER but I can assure you he is one of the fastest and most efficient and does everything to help the nursing staff with the flow of the room. All the nurses agree he sees the most patients without any complaint and sees them with dignity and respect. As for the comment below many ER doctors would not have even prescribed an antibiotic if the urine was clear but Dr. Ahmad has a sixth sense and navigates the ER in a way that is truly remarkable to see. Also I can assure you he takes the time to listen and trust his medical colleagues and residents and does provide them with autonomy so they can learn but supervises them like a hawk and makes sure every patient gets diligent care and compassionate care. He is the best and his career is only… going to go further. I see him becoming a major director one day and an asset to any healthcare system and organization. Dr. Ahmad is very compassionate. He was there for me when my father passed away. He gave us hope and said he would do everything to keep my father at ease and free from pain. He is a true joy to be around. I recently wrote to the hospital CEO that he should be given leadership roles because he would make all the physicians around him better.

I recently met Dr Wakas Ahmad at Rush Hospital in ER. I felt he listened to my problems and was very good and thorough with the tests. He was able to diagnose me, which many doctors have not been able to. I wish other doctors would be as intelligent and as smart as him.
