Dr. Ahmad Wali Ziayee

Dr. Ziayee is a pleasant competent professional. Unfortunately, I don't feel comfortable going back to his office because of his receptionist -- I believe it's his mother. Several months after the exam, I tried to purchase glasses, but was told I needed a prescription. I gave them the telephone number of Dr. Ziayee. Warby Parker called me back to say the receptionist had told them she had no record of me. I then called the office. The receptionist acknowledged that she had my records, but she scolded me, saying she had already given me a written prescription at the time of the exam. She only relented when I explained that I was 75 years old; my synapses were not connecting as quickly as they used to, and I couldn't find the prescription. She then said, "Well, okay then." The next time I needed my vision checked I went to Nova Vision Center -- much more pleasant staff -- and a comprehensive written Assessment/Plan.

I have been seeing Dr. Ziayee for my eye exams for the last five years. He is an exceptional ophthalmologist. He is extremely thorough and compassionate. I have recommended my friends and family to him, and now they are his patients for life!

Waited for weeks for an appointment. Then they tell me I have the wrong day and offer to reschedule 6 - 10 weeks out, Very rude, must be someone better !!

Dr. Ziayee spends so much time with me and explains everything thoroughly. I have seen him for years and I never feel rushed. Wish all my doctors are like him!

I needed an emergency visit and he was wonderful about fitting me in ASAP.

Very thorough and kind. Excellent communication skills and great fund of knowledge! Hard to find an eye doctor who doesn't rush you. Will be coming back to see him.

I saw Dr Ziayee for a few years on a regular basis and during that time I was very happy with his care. Problems arose when I recently moved and had a routine eye exam. I was diagnosed with advanced low pressure glaucoma with optic nerve damage along with macular degeneration. This problem advanced over time and was missed during the years I saw Dr Ziayee and because of this I now have diminished vision and require more immediate treatment.

Dr. Ziayee is one of my favorite doctors. He always makes me feel so comfortable with the eye exam and he always explains things well to me. I had seen one of the other optho docs at Arlington and felt so rushed and left the office confused about my diagnosis. Dr. Ziayee is just the opposite! Great doctor! I will be referring my family to him.

Great doctor! Dr. Ziayee took the time to answer all my questions and explain to me his plan of care. I have seen a few eye doctors in the past but have always felt very rushed with them. Dr. Ziayee is the opposite. Thorough exam and great bedside manner. He is knowledgable and patient. I will be recommending him to all my family and friends!
