Dr. Wasel Sayed Akbary, DO

Very pleased with my first visit. The office staff was friendly and Dr. Akbary was very Professional. He listened to my concerns and advised on a treatment plan that made sense. Excellent bed-side manners and genuine care for patients. Glad I found a Primary Care Physician I feel comfortable with staying with.

I've been seeing Dr. Akbary for almost two years, and have nothing but praise for him. He listens well, addresses my concerns (and I have a lot!), is always patient. His staff is a different matter, though they are very courteous, they seem to draw a lot of blanks over some of the simplest things. The new (as of this summer) phlebotomists are terrible in most ways. Both are from other countries, are INCREDIBLY difficult to understand due to their accents, and don't seem to understand the simplest of English language statements. I've had terrible blood situations with them-not reading my paperwork, blowing veins every time, sticking my 4-5 times and still not being able to do their jobs. Just awful. There is an extremely wide ocean of competence between Dr. Akbary and his staff. Him I give a strong "10", his staff a strong "2."
