Dr. Wayne Robert Kirkham, MD

I have been going to Dr. Kirkham for over 40 years I was in a hospital he wasn't even associated with and had 3 ear infections combined,the Drs. In the hospital couldn't figure out how to treat my ear infections and we're about to give me mastoid surgery,well they had knew Dr. Kirkham's reputation of being the best in Dallas,so Dr. Kirkham was asked to visit me in the hospital,he came and told me to check out of the hospital and come visit him at that time across the street from Methodist Central,I did,I had been in extreme pain for 3 months,and had been in the hospital 3 times in 3 months for the same ear infections,each time 2 weeks at a time,taking demoral,Dr. Kirkham had my ear well in just a few days without surgery!!I also had sinus surgery in the 90's with Dr. Kirkham,I have seen Dr. Kirkham in D Magazine every year as Dallas best,Dr.Kirkham works on many movie stars and singers,all over the United States and also has worked on Ronald Reagon and staff,I live a long way from… Medical City,but will get there at least once a year to see him,or more if needed,Dr.Kirkham has been on TV,many times also,being the expert he is,DR. KIRKHAM IS WELL KNOWN ALL OVER THE UNITED STATES AS,BEING ONE OF THE BEST,IF NOT THE BEST!! I LOOK FORWARD TO MY VISITS WITH DR. KIRKHAM,THE ONLY DR. I TRUST WITH MY EARS,I KNOW HE WILL NOT HURT ME,AND IM NOT AFRAID HE WILL,SO I CAN TELL ANYONE THAT NEEDS TO KNOW,HE IS VERY GENTLE AND KNOWS WHAT HE IS TALKING ABOUT,HE TREATS ADULTS AND CHILDREN!

Just tried to make an appointment with Dr Kirkham. I had seen him in 2001. Since then I have become on Medicare. Since it had been so long, I am a new patient and he will not accept new Medicare patients. Phone lady was dismissive

Really appreciate Dr. Kirkham and his wealth of knowledge and expertise. He was able to help me with a complex diagnosis and took time to explain and provide a treatment pathway. I continue to feel like I am in caring and good hands.

I have worked with and been a patient of Dr. Wayne R. Kirkham for many years. I can say, without reservation, that he is the best of the best. He communicates clearly and with empathy. He is a brilliant diagnostician and a fine surgeon. Patients appreciate his ability, his humor, and his interest in their health issues. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone, regardless of the complexity of their medical issue. He is a doctor's doctor.

Terrible experience. I seldom leave reviews, and when I do, they are almost always positive, but Dr. Kirkham was just terrible and unbelievably disappointing. I went in for tonsil stones. Dr. Kirkham comes in and states in less than 30 seconds that he wouldn't operate on my tonsils in the same way that he wouldn't cut off fingers for dirty finger nails. OK, fair enough, except I never mentioned surgery. Not even once. Not even in passing. He just decided to bombard me with his medical conclusion versus offering any sort of solution or help. Dr. Kirkham then stated that the medication I am on is terrible and causing the "tonsil debris," as he calls it, and proceeded to mention how horrible this medication is several more times. Well, I'm on it for lupus, so offer me a solution versus just lambasting me with your unwarranted and aggressive viewpoints on medications that are essential for life. And in case you have these stones, you are well aware that they are entirely… different, in every conceivable way, from dirty fingernails. The comparison was so insulting I almost couldn't believe it was even coming from his mouth. Even after stating to Dr. Kirkham how bad the stones were, such as the fact that I can barely eat, feel nauseated constantly, don't want to talk to people, that they are ruining my life, he was still cavalier and cold. Just gross behavior. You should find a different profession, Dr. Kirkham. Perhaps mortuary attendant where you don't have to interact with actual humans.

I haven't been to Dr. Kirkham in a while, but my children ( 3 of them ) grew up going to Dr. Kirkham. He is the best Doctor! My children, who are 32, 27 and 20 all loved him. He has a wonderful staff! I will continue to go to Dr. Kirkham whenever I need E, N, and T doctor, I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Dr Kirkham removed a cancerous tumor from my wife's left maxillary sinus and provided referral to oncology services at Texas Oncology. He saved her life. He communicates and follows up with other doctors as necessary and you can count on him doing what he says he's going to do. I was so impress that I made an appointment with Dr Kirkham to look at my deviated septum. In spite of me having the worst deviated septum he's seen in many years, he was able to straighten it out WITHOUT the use of splints! He skills and knowledge are unmatched. I now intend to have him look at my hearing loss in one ear.
