Dr. Wenhui Cai, MD

He does not listen Dr. Wehhui Cai had his mind made up before he met me or knew my history for meds he was going to prescribe. I don’t handle SSRI meds and off label use of meds very well, I tend to have all the side effects . I recently had gene testing to eliminate taking stuff genetically I should not have. He refused to see my results and insisted on Duloxetine which has significant interactions with meds I’m already on, the fact I have low blood pressure and suffer from POTS syndrome, not to mention it’s listed as a medicine that can cause moderate gene interactions. He said no one can write scripts for the meds I was requesting only 5 pills of 0.25mg Xanax monthly. Something I’ve been on for years. I suffer from situational anxiety and horrible motion sickness. I’m currently being treated for ADHD attending therapy for anxiety and was needing something for occasional relief. He acted like I didn’t want his help since I didn’t want his antidepressant and walked out of the room.

This Dr. and entire staff are absolutely worthless. He only “works” twice a week and is super quick to misdiagnose and completely disregards facts. His answer to everything is strictly strong, harsh and unnecessary medication. If you’re having mental concerns/problems check out KETAMINE!

Office staff very rude.

I came to see Dr. Cai three day stay at Kino Hospital due to a bad reaction to an SSRI and a complete breakdown with anxiety and depression. He instantly made me feel comfortable enough to share all of my story and concerns with him. He listened and noted my concerns about not being overly medicated. He is working diligently to help me find the right combination of medication to combat my anxiety, depression and PTSD. He also gave me some good direction with regard to some lifestyle changes. I no longer want to die everyday and I'm beginning to have hope....thank you Dr. Cai.

DO NOT GO TO DR. CAI. He will spend 10 minutes with you then give you a prescription. Then your next appointment will be with his assistant just to discuss you side effects. TERRIBLE practice!
