Dr. Wesley Michael Stotler, DO

I had surgery back in 2013 /2014 , it was an elective surgery to correct flat foot. I will never go back to Dr. Stotler. I continued to have pain after surgery and he sent me to physical therapy. Did not help. Went to another doctor and he suggested I take a nerve test on my left foot. The reason I went to him was because my foot was completely numb and still to this day is and has affected the way I walk. I asked the doctor who did the nerve test what could have happened. He told me either a nerve was cut during surgery or the tourniquet was pulled to tight to stop bleeding. Also told me there was nothing that could be done to repair that. I believe Dr. Stotler knew what happened and then when I went back for post op he was very rude and wasnt happy that his nurse had not taken off my bandage, and he continued to rip it off which caused me to scream in pain. My daughter asked the nurse after he left if that was the usual way a bandage was taken off, and she said no, they… usually soak it before taking the bandage off. He is egotistical and gives the impression that he is superior. That was back then, but I would never go back but hope that his attitude is better with his patients. I have told many people about my treatment and they said because of my treatment they would never use him/

I went in for the first time to this Dr. and he was in and out of the room within 10 minutes. I felt like he wasn't concerned at all for the reason why I was there to see him and will not go back again to him.

Dr. Stotler found, after 35 years and several operations and Surgeon opinions what has caused my severe ankle pain. Identified errors made when surgically repairing a broken ankle 35 years ago and the process required to fix it. He is never in a rush and is thorough and clearly explains issues -good or bad. Great Doctor.

Left with foot nerve pain, offered no further treatment except see back doc but two neurologists have told me not due to back but nerve damage in foot. It may be the the fault of anathesogists for not giving nerve block while I was still awake. Just pray it happens to no one else,
