Dr. William Dore Binder, MD

Dr. Binder attended medical school at the University of Mississippi where he received his medical degree in 1980. He went on to complete his OB/GYN Residency through Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. Dr. Binder also completed a Masters in Medical Management while attending Tulane University. Dr. Binder is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, where he was named Vice President for the Louisiana Section of ACOG in 2009. Dr. Binder is also a member of the East Baton Rouge Parish Medical Society, the Louisiana State Medical Society, the American Medical Association, the American Hospital Association, Committee of Governance, and the American College of Physician Executives. Dr. Binder is a board member at Woman's Hospital and was Chief of Staff in 2001. He was also named Chairman of the Board at Woman's Hospital in 2008.
