Dr. William D Buser, MD

Dr Buser is excellent. He listens and knows what to do about my health. He is concerned when there is a problem. I have been going to him for 8 years and don't plan to change doctors.

I've been a patient of Dr. Buser for over 20 years. He has treated my ulcerative colitis for all that time. Never have I felt rushed or misinformed. He is excellent at follow up and even called on Christmas Eve last year because I was in the middle of a flair. His staff is extremely friendly and will always call before monthly lab work is due to remind. I feel like I've been with Dr. Buser from his early career until now. He is still that eager and friendly guy he was 25 years ago when I was a new patient. I've seen a few other doctors for various reasons through the years and each one recognizes and respects Dr. Buser.

Dr. Buser gave me his full attention during the initial visit. He spent extra time with me to try and pinpoint my specific problems. He ordered the correct tests, and the tests confirmed his diagnosis. He went above and beyond to help me find the causes of my problems and to help alleviate my symptoms. I would have been healthier years ago if my previous doctors had been as aggressive in my treatment.

My experience with Dr. Busser was excellent. He diagnosed my colon cancer when I was 31. It was stage four and had erupted through the bowel wall. I've had many physicians tell me that I'm one of the very few survivors of colon cancer when diagnosed at a young age. I have been cancer free for over twenty years now and owe a great deal to Dr. Busser. I've always found him to be forth coming with answers to questions and his staff very accommodating. All reports and follow ups ove the years have been done.

Dr. Buser really seemed to want me out the door from the moment I got there. He's very nice, but he rushed through the exam, didn't ask a lot of questions and also didn't really want to hear about all of my symptoms. He sent me for a CT scan which was then misread, and ultimately he made no effort to follow up with me or with the other physicians that had to get involved. I heard "oh, he's good," from a nurse at another doctor's office, but I was really unimpressed with how he handled my case. If you KNOW you have a GI need, he's probably your man, but I went in with some real unknowns and he wasn't interested in doing the work.
