Dr. William Curtis Wood, MD

If I could give zero stars I would. He is EXTREMELY unprofessional. I dont know how he is able to even practice. If you value your sanity or your loved one's sanity I would RUN VERY, VERY FAR from this man.

Dr Wood probably has enough patients to keep him busy for a life time, so I'm not giving a review to up his patients intake, but Dr Wood is just amazing and everyone should know it. Yes, he may not be the most organized person on the planet, but he's one of the most intelligent, hardworking, insightful, patient people I have ever met and will ever meet. He took me on at an absolute low point, as I know he does with many of his patients, and I doubt I would have stayed out of the hospital for more than a couple months if it weren't for him. It's now been three years since my hospitalization and I trust that as long as he's my provider I will stay out of the hospital. Dr. Wood has become one of the most important people in my life. He is not just a doctor, but a caring, dedicated human being and resource.

Had an unpleasant experience, expectations were not met at all!!

Dr. Wood has been my therapist for three years. He is both direct and compassionate. He is great at making patients feel understood and he takes feedback well. I am a teenager and not only is he a great therapist to me, but he helps to mediate my parents as well without it feeling like his association with them is encroaching on my own process. I have come a long way working with Dr. Wood and hope to continue to for a long time. I recommend Dr. Wood highly.

Cold as his name

I brought my 12 year old son to Dr. Wood when his former provider left the practice. Dr. Wood was then a 2nd year resident (not disclosed to us at the time). Dr. Wood crossed boundaries and causing such trust issues for my son that to this day, my son who is now 22, dislikes this man. I am cannot believe this man is allowed to practice. I wish I had NEVER ever taken this recommendation.
