If you are going to be seen for skin cancer and you want to be seen by a nurse and not the doctor and get charged by the doctor go there . This nurse missed a MOLE THAT QAS POSITIVE FOR MELANOMA . I COULD BE DEAD NOW IF I DIDNT GET A SECOBD OPINION

I've gone to Dr. Shields a long time, nice man with nice medical assistants. The accounting is like "confuse them with confusion" Statements difficult to understand and trying to get an explanation is the worst. Hate to have to find another Dr, but can't deal with it.

Excellent doctor. Has always diagnosed correctly. Is a very caring individual. He is very knowledgeable in the field of cancer. I am prone to skin cancer due to medication I take, and he has realy been on top of things.

I had an appointment with Dr. Shields. I was seen by a nurse practitioner. She seemed professional and well-informed, but she is not who I made the appointment with. I never saw or met Dr. Shields, whose professional care I believed I would be receiving. I did see several different nurses calling for patients, so maybe the bulk of this practice's work is done by nurses, not by this doctor. Nice work if you can get it!
