Dr. William Dwight Kernodle, MD

Dr Kernodle is the best for anxiety and panic attacks. He literally wrote a book on it and how to treat it. He's been my Dr for years and would never change him!

I BECAME A PATIENT RIGHT AFTER YOU WROTE 1ST BOOK ON PANIC DISORDER. YOU WERE A GREAT HELP AND WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW I AM NOW DEALING W/ PARKINSON'S FOR TEN YEARS. I THINK W/ PANIC DISORDER I WAS RELEASING TOO MUCH DOPAMINE? NOW I DON'T MAKE ENOUGH DOPAMINE? IF THIS CORRECT MIGHT THEIR BE AN EARLY WARNING FOR PARKINSON'S AFTER BEING TREATED FOR PANIC DISORDER. NOTE I AM NOW 77.

I have seen Dr. Kernodle for many years for panic disorder/ w agoraphobia. My panic attacks were so bad I would avoid public places at all costs, and rarely left my house. I suffered most of the serious mental and physical symptoms of panic such as tachycardia, feelings of impending doom, fear of heart attack, feeling of disassociation, and extreme physical manifestations of anxiety such as cold, purple extremities and severe sweating. Within 2-3 weeks of seeing Dr. Kernodle my anxiety and symptoms were 95% gone, and panic attacks were totally gone. In fact I felt much improvement in just the first couple days. Dr. Kernodle's understanding of anxiety disorders and medications is outstanding. He truly gave me my life back. He has a very understanding, easy going personality, and listens to his patients, and allows the patient to have a say in their treatment. I should note that I responded very well to his initial medication choices, and not everyone will have the same response (some… people have to try several different combinations of meds to get it right), but he will help you get it right. I couldn't have a better opinion of a doctor. Highly recommended!

I had panic/anxiety for over 20 years. I read his book "Panic", and it was if he wrote it about me. I recommend the book.I made an appointment and he fixed me. I dont live with panic attacks anymore, or anxiety that keeps me from living a normal life. He is very professional and knows his stuff. I think he is very matter of fact, but once you start seeing him regularly, hes a sweetheart. I cant say enough good things about Dr. Kernodle. He changed my life, and he can change yours too.
