The doctor is great however... I had one appointment with the doctor where he prescribed new Asthma meds, when I went back for a follow up and refill on my prescription they told me on the day of my appointment that they no longer take self pay patients and that you have to sign up for their plan where you pay them $65 a month for a year, whether you need to see the doctor or not. Would have been nice to know that before getting started on a new medication and then being told I couldn't see the doctor with out being strong armed into signing a contract. $65 a month or $780 a year. The office staff shook their head and acted as if I was crazy for not wanting to pay in advance for visits I wouldn't need. Why didn't anyone say this was their rules before seeing me in the first place?

And gives sensible advice!

This doctor for years gave my father pills to take care of his pain then laws changed and could not give him the same amount any longer. Well my father suffered withdrawals which the doctor should have anticipated knowing that my father lived alone and was deathly afraid of hospitals. Medical assistance at home, nurse care, forced rehab or even a gradual reduction. There should have been some kind of medical assistance from the doctor to anticipate the withdrawals. Well my father could not handle the pain and the immediate reduction in dosage and passed away. I understand this is hard to read but this was our experience and others should know. Also when I read that another google reviewer mentioned the pill aspect as well, I knew we were not alone.

I complained for two years that I was always tired and spent most days sitting in a recliner and not even getting dressed. He never suggested any tests or a diagnosis. I finally started passing out because I needed a pacemaker and had A Fib. My pulse was in the low 30's. He told me I was pre-diabetic and put me on a drug that caused me to be hospitalized for 3 days. # other Doctors have told me I am not pre-diabetic. He told me I had an infection and prescribed an anti-biotic. I went home and later in the day passed kidney stones. I think my history with this MD gives me the right to give him 1 star.

First appt was great. Subsequent visits rushed. He asks the same questions each time. Obvious he hasnt read chart. Focuses on one symptom rather than the big picture.

I moved down from Chicago 2 years ago. Not having a primary doctor, I was on the hunt, going through reviews and found him to be very personable, and understanding to the patients needs. The reviews couldn't of been more spot on! He asked plenty of questions, was concerned about my past health, and very thorough with the exam. He advised to have a CT Scan for my abdominal pain, rather to wait it out and take some pills. He was looking to eliminate any, and all possibilities of the problem, rather than guessing. I took my Scan this morning and waiting for the results. I would recommend visiting the clinic,the staff as well as Dr. Crouch make you fell at home and comfortable in your time of need. Looking forward to building a lifelong relationship with the doc.

His office is immaculate, his staff is super sharp, yet very friendly (love Tammy) Dr. Crouch is not only a companionate doctor, but he is wicked smart. He does not over/under medicate or diagnose. His bedside manner is like no other doctor I have ever seen. He takes time to understand me as a human being and as a patient. And finally, I would HIGHLY recommend him, and actually already have, to my dearest family and friends. OH... did I mention that he is wicked smart!!! Seriously, I am soooo lucky I found him after years of bad doctors;0) I have been his patient now for a little over 4 years and don't ever plan on having another primary physician.

Dr. Crouch and his staff are the most competitent and caring medical office that I have had since I moved from New Jersey in 1997. Dr. Crouch is extremely knowledgable, compassionate and caring. My children are his patients and I compare him to my family doctor growing up...just the kind of doctor you trust to handle the medical issues for your family.
