Excellent and caring doctor who I trust

I had Dr. McKeon for many years when he was in NY, at Stony brook medical internist With my health issues, he made sure to explain everything in detail. I always felt comfortable with him. My mother is a nurse and very vocal when she has questions. Dr. McKeon spent as much time with me as needed if I had questions. He is friendly and was always there for me when I had an appointment or a phone call. No one will ever be able to take his place. The staff at Stony brook also agrees with me. His staff and patients miss him. I miss him. When he left for Tennessee, I was truly sad to see him go. I'm sure his patients in Tennessee, love him as much as his Ny patients did.mi would recommend him to everybody.

Dr. McKean is a "one of a kind". I have been to many dr's in my life and the good one's stood out. But the first appt with him was an indication that this Dr. knew how to be the best of his breed. He is by far the most caring, knowledgable, thorough, and interested in his patients. Just knowing he is at the wheel makes me feel like I am in healing hands. What a find and I would call him the Best Of Hermitage.

I have had many doctors thru out many years and I never had an internist with such a wonderful, caring manner. He took the time to listen, ask questions, reviewed my medications and explained what each medication was for. He asked about my past history. He appears to be genuinely concerned about you. I didn't feel like he rushed thru our first visit and I am happy to have found Dr. McKean. I have been ill for two years and no doctor has been able to make a diagnosis. Finally, I believe I have found a physician who will and make me well again.

I am 69 years old and Dr. McKean is the finest dr. that I have ever had. He not only is brilliant in knowledge but is one of the kindest and most caring, of any that I have known. His bedside manner is outstanding. He listens carefully to what I have to say and never rushes anything. His staff is equally great. I am so very fortunate to have him as a physician.

Dr. Mckean was my doctor for a number of years while at his previous hospital, Stonybrook. Although I am ok with my new doctor, I don't think anyone who had him as a physician will ever forget him. He is the kind of doctor that all doctors should take a lesson in bedside manner. He has a kind heart and never made me feel like he was just trying get to the end of the day. Whether I needed 15 minutes from him or 1hour, I was never rushed.I really can't put it into words, if you've ever had him as a doctor , you know what a great man & doctor, you know. I know I miss him and will never forget him. No one can ever replace him.

On my first visit, the office staff and nurses looked and acted as if they really enjoyed their work. They were warm and welcoming. Dr. McKean took time to explain what I should expect from him and his office; he let me ask questions and never made me feel rushed. My second visit was just as relaxed and comfortable. I have finally found a Dr. that listens and would recommend him to anyone.

Incredible doctor, truly caring truly professional. Always makes me feel secure about my health.
