William Severino, MD

My father saw Dr. Severino in Springfield to discuss a possible surgery. The patient, my father, is an older man in his nineties . Dr. Severino explained the surgery and in his explanation appeared somewhat hesitant in doing it although he wouldn’t come out and say so. His last words were to call his office after talking with the family and let him know the decision. I called with wanting a few more questions to be answered and dad’s decision. I have called his office 6 different times and 6 different days and they will not return my call. We have decided that with this unprofessional behavior that we would not trust the surgery to be done by this doctor. Very unprofessional!

Dr. Severino is a great listener and answers all questions. He is careful to provide the patient with all options to treat a problem. Although he's the type of doctor that I'd rather not have to see, he's one of the best doctors that I've had.

Dr. Is very good in all respects. His staff is terrible, they refuse to return a phone call. You cant ever talk to a nurse, they say they will give them a message and they will call you. Well 4 times in a row, this never happens. It is like after surgery, nobody cares. I wish the Dr. knew this.

Dr Severino lied to me on several accounts. .I would 'nt. recommend him as a good doc...I will ''Never go back to him...

Worst experience with a doctor in my life. If you want to be seen by a physician before or after surgery, do not go to this doctor. You will not be able to see him. You will be handed off to his nurses or assistants. Mostly, if there are any complications, he simply DOES.NOT.CARE. PERIOD. My advice: find someone else.

like how careful he is. he explains what he sees, why doing a procedure and what is expected. sharp dr. he helped me on two different emergency calls one at his office and one in er.
