Very professional and kind person. My family have only positive and warm feelings about our visit

When my son was 6, when he was in a boating accident that removed most of his calf, right leg, and the outside of his left ankle. After 22 days in Florida hospital and 12 operations he was discharged. It wasn't long after he developed an infection necessitating changing his bandages every 2 to 3 days. Bill met us @ 6:00 AM in his office and changed as necessary. He did this so Sean would not miss any school. My son and I owe a debt we will never be able to pay. God bless you and your staff Bill.

We went to see the doctor for a wrist bone fraction. All they did was taking two x-ray pictures and the doctor looked the pictures and wrote a prescription for a wrist brace. We paid the specialist copay at the visit. However, later on, we received a bill asking for more than $250. I called the insurance and insurance said they billed the visit as a surgery, which I had to pay in full because I haven't used up my deductible. I called the office asking what surgery they did on my daughter. The office said they had to ask the doctor. After the first visit, we went back to follow up. The second visit is to take x-ray again to see if the bone heals. They billed me for $92. The insurance EOB said I am responsible for $21. I called the insurance to confirm I should only pay $21. Then I called the office to dispute it. The office said they will check. A couple of month later, I received a bill still asking for $92 dollars. The first visit was in Jan. and now it is Sep. They haven't billed… right ever. Terrible billing system. Please call your insurance to confirm it before you pay a penny! And read EOB carefully to see if they bill you the right service you get from the doctor. Wouldn't go back anymore.

We have had to see Dr. Zink several times and he is understanding and thorough yet doesn't let my child make more of her injuries than what they are. He's honest in the best way. Thanks.

Like with all specialists a patient can expect to wait a bit longer. He was very efficient and gracious during the diagnosis and treatment of my son for a broken collar bone. He spent way longer with us to be sure everything was alright. I highly recommend him for all kids sports injuries.

My daughter was born with severe club foot, affecting both feet and legs. Several doctors were scheduled to see her in the hospital to begin castings immediately, while it could help correct the problem nonsurgically. All turned her away because we only had medicaid at the time. She was placed on a two year waiting list for Nemours in Orlando instead. Our daughter started trying to walk around 9 months but, because of her extreme deformity, she was waking on the outsides of her ankles. As her mom, it was breaking my heart. Her awesome pediatrician was also touched by her, and pretty outraged at the system for leaving our daughter behind. She started reaching out on Abby's behalf through phone calls and emails. One day we arrived home to a message on our answering machine from Dr. Zink's office. His secretary informed us that he was currently in South America, where he spends time donating surgery every year, but that he had agreed to see us immediately upon his return.....despite the… fact that his office did not accept medicaid at that time. He explained in great detail the procedure he would have to perform and, despite us being terrified over our infant having surgery, he managed to feel completely confident that our daughter was in good hands. Dr. Zink performed an 11 1/2 hour surgery and helped our little girl to walk. Not only that, he did it all out of his own pocket. This doctor put my babies ability to walk above his desire to make a buck. I've never experienced that kind of care and compassion before with a doctor, nor do I expect to see it again. I am eternally grateful for what Dr. Zink did for Abby, and would definitely, strongly and most adamantly recommend this doctor to anyone in need of an awesome orthopedic surgeon.

There is something not quite right about this doctor, I toke my daughter to him when she was 9 montbs old and he insisted that I take her diaper off against my better judgement. Please be careful if you are considering using this doctor it is not worth the risk.

I was a patient of Dr. Zink as a child and I wish I had known about the trial so I could have testified. I was molested as a child by this Doctor. Please do not take your children to see him.

My daughter and I had a very unpleasant experience with Dr. Zink and his staff. After waiting almost an hour to be seen on both occasions, we essentially got no real diagnosis and after two visits are eagerly changing doctors. More importantly, we had an extremely uncomfortable situation by which Dr. Zink behaved completely unprofessionally and unacceptably with my daughter. I am thankful I was in the room and could intervene as I am quite certain my kid would not have the inclination to immediately see and protest the behavior and requests of Dr. Zink. Even more disturbing was the "argument" I got when voicing my disapproval of his behavior. I would have thought with his history (of which I was not aware at that time), he would be walking on pins and needles, completely avoiding any potential issues. Google 80's and 90's history yourself and come to your own conclusions. If you have any options, I suggest you choose them.
