Dr. Wissam Asfahani, MD

I've seen nearly 100 medical specialists for my specific problem, and after many MRIs, epidurals and nerve injections, one stated that I should see an orthopedic surgeon or a neurosurgeon. I made an appointment to see Dr. Asfahani but when I got there, he wasn't available and so I met with PA-C Kaitlyn Bohus. I've met with many PAs in many offices and PA Bohus was definitely the best. She is a great listener, is highly intelligent and very knowledgeable. PA Bohus contacted several of my previous specialists and got even more details than I was able to provide with the many forms I gave her. Dr. Asfahani called me the next day and we spoke on the phone. I appreciated that he wanted to follow-up with me and he apologized for being unable to be at our appointment. I felt that the providers were very sincere and listened very well. They were paying attention to what I said. They communicated well with each other. However, it seemed that they were just unsure of what to do and just… throwing out some ideas (that I've already tried) and weren't proactive about trying anything new, even though my MRIs show where nerve impingements are. Ultimately, they didn't seem to want to perform surgery, which is all that was really left at this point. I decided to find another surgeon - I found a great orthopedic surgeon, I had surgery with the new doctor and that surgery was successful.

Talented and genuinely doctor and office. Doctor asfahani and his team set thr standard for customer service. I will never use another spine surgeon. He ses high standards and he and his team deliver.

My experience with Dr Asfahani was excellent. I might not be here now if not for his skill and competence. He always took the time to thoroughly explain all aspects of my procedure and my results. I could tell my long term benefit was always his guiding principle. I could not be happier.
