Dr. Wolfgang Cerwinka, MD

A few years back, I had a very bad kidney infection. Dr. Cerwinka treated my case so well. He is so caring and amazing at what he does. I'm very grateful to have met him.

We took our 3 month old to see Dr.Cerwinka and we were very pleased with the service we received. He was both friendly and professional. He took the time to show us why he made his diagnosis. A wonderful doctor!

Dr. Cerwinka has helped both of my daughters, each of them were born with two different birth defects. We didn’t find out until my oldest was 9 yrs. old that she had an UPJ obstruction. Meeting Dr. Cerwinka at CHOA at one of the scariest times in my life, when my daughter was admitted with a terrible kidney infection. He made me feel like everything was going to be alright and he fixed her with surgery. She is now fully recovered and is doing great! Knowing this was a birth defect, when I became pregnant again we told my Obgyn and they saw in the ultrasound that my fetus had a problem with her kidney. Again we went to Dr. Cerwinka because I trust him, he already saved my oldest daughter and I totally trust him with my newborn baby. He has always made me feel confident in the best & safest decisions to take for my babies. My baby girl is 15 months old and she has out grown her urinary reflux. I would recommend him to anyone, he is an amazing pediatric urologist!! He has a wonderfully… helpful staff, my daughters love Erica. She has always been so sweet to our family. GA Urology is the Best!!!!

Dr. Cerwinka and his nurse, Ericka are absolutely amazing. We have been seeing them for 5 years and will not see another Urologist. I have never had an issue with scheduling or any issues when dealing with their office.

Excellent urologist. Genuinely cares about patients but also the parents and making sure they understand diagnosis and options. Couldn't recommend more highly. Saw our son as a newborn and guided us through the decision for surgery and to post op.

If you have young ones with urological issues, be careful when you are dealing with GA Urology that is the ONLY pediatric urologists in Atlanta. I strongly urge you to research online and get second opinion from other pediatric urologists out of town. These guys have created a monopoly in Atlanta and do whatever they wish.

My daughter saw Dr. Cerwinka about 6 months ago for recurring kidney stones. Being 16 years old, she was quite scared and concerned with what was happening to her. Dr. Cerwinka was very kind to my daughter, and he took the time to answer not only my questions, but those she had as well. He left the option of surgery up to us as a family, which we ended up having to do in the end. Dr. Cerwinka was kind, professional and patient with all of us, and he took extremely good care of all of us. His staff was exceptionally wonderful and helpful, and given the circumstances, we couldn't have asked for a better experience during such trying times. I hope we never need a urologist in the future, but if the need arises he will be the first one we call.

We saw Dr. Kitchens in Birmingham and he was AWFUL, a real jerk. So, we found Dr. Cerwinka who came highly recommened by nurses. He knew exactly how to treat my intact son and handled the whole situation with care and professionalism. He stayed a long time answering my questions.
