Dr. Van Meter is great. He is the only one I wanted to do my cataract surgery. His staff is great...Everything was clearly explained to me. His record and reputation are beyond reproach.

Long waits, depending on time of day. Easier to get in early morning appointments than later in the day. Has lots of emergencies he has to work in and causes delays for afternoon appointments. Goes on conferences and is out of the office. Not always the easiest to get in to see as he is not always in. Great doctor with lots of knowledge and good bedside manner. Takes time with his patients.

I am a retired doctor, and have used Dr. Van Meter for years now. His staff, Janet and others, is wonderful. Caring and knowledgeable.

I have been seeing Dr. Van Meter for several decades and I have complete trust in his medical skills and desire to treat me as an individual. He is not one to rush you into a procedure, but do what is best for your long term outcome. I've had to change health insurance policies, but I always make sure Dr. Van Meter is a physician available for my opthamology needs. His assisting staff is helpful and very friendly.

I've been seeing Woody for close to 18yrs. Even as I moved around the country I retained him as a Dr. He's known Nationally and after two very bad trauma injuries to my left eye I'm seeing corrected 20/30. My situation is complicated and in the hands of a less skilled doctor my outcomes wouldn't have been as positive. Waits in the office are indeed long but he's worth it.
