Hi Woody - I thought you might be interested in this letter to my last TREATING physician.
Hi Andy: I called you a few weeks ago but I never heard back from you - telling in and of itself. .I didn't pursue litigation because I would have been under a gag order not to speak about the case. See, it wasn't about money for me, I JUST WANTED MY LIFE BACK, and for you and Bill to do what was ethical and right!!! Another thing, Andy, before I got into the medical field, I worked for one of the largest law firms in the Country and UK. After my last surgery with you, I immediately went on Cipro and Flagyl, and it was amazing how good I felt!!! I then went off Cipro and Flagyl, waited six weeks for the fistula and UTI to manifest itself, and then DIVERTICULITIS to develop, because I wanted the final diagnosis to be revealed. See, with the help of my legal background, I know doctors don't have to cure you, just treat the symptoms, so thanks for the fistula surgery, because I surely didn't… want my bladder or kidneys to shut down!! Whew, thanks again!! Thank you for the TREATMENT OF SYMPTOMS advice!!!! You and Bill had a choice, but you made the wrong one. I have big plans for the other butchers in Raleigh, too. One more thing, why can't you have endometriosis and diverticulitis at the same time? People have tendonitis, bursitis, arthritis, encephalitis, diverticulosis, diverticulitis, pancreatitis, etc. all the time. You and Bill's greed for money and reputation is what will lead to your ultimate demise. I then went to one of my lawyer colleagues and told them what I believed you and Bill did. Then, I had a colonoscopy, and wow, to my amazement, the diverticulae was gone!!!! I don't remember having a boweI resection....hmmm. But, thank God for CT scans that show significant bowel wall thickening, and blood tests that were off the chart!!! Well, could it be gastritis? Microscopic colitis? Colitis? Crohn's disease? Sepsis? Bowel obstruction? Nope, colonoscopy didn't show a thing!!!! Amazingly, my attorney and I kind of chuckled, and we asked an ETHICAL surgeon to resect my previous anastamosis and then create a new one, and guess what we found on pathology!!!!! It's amazing how much better I have felt for 15 years without constipation, left-sided pain, and fistulas!!! Maybe it is endometriosis? Oh yeah "osis" in latin means "condition". There isn't such a thing as "endometriitis", so pretty sure you would not run 103 fever with that. Anyway, Andy, I've been in constant contact with the girls that have blogged that you were a SCAM!!! I was always told to follow my instincts!!!! Oh yeah, I understand the statute of limitations for medical malpractice in CA is three years. Don't you know from CNN that the cover up is worse than the crime!!!!! You cannot get rid of the paper trail completely, Andy, but you can surely try!!!. And, also Andy, using transvaginal US for the SUSPECTED diagnosis of diverticulitis is only used in Africa and Asia. And, from what I understand, is below the standard of care in the US. But, I totally understand that it doesn't leave a paper trail, and CT scans are only useful during active disease. But colonoscopy and CT scans together can help a surgeon get ALL of the disease. Thank God for that "pseudo-diverticulae" on colonoscopy, until I saw you, of course. Oh yeah, redundant bowel is not a surgical condition. I understand MM insurance is extremely high in CA. It's probably time for you and Bill to retire!!!! Don't you know that one of our jobs as human beings is to fight for the ones who cannot fight for themselves...and I take that job SERIOUSLY!!!! This is about to become bigger than you and Bill's narcissistic egos (or borderline sociopathic disorder)...I'm not a doctor, so I cannot diagnose conditions or diseases, technically. Keep an eye on the news (oh, yeah, not local news, but National news) in the next few months after all of the civil actions against you and Bill are resolved. I know a few senators in CA and there will be an ethics investigation by the CA Medical Board, and I am willing to testify against you and Bill with the help of my medical records and those other victims!!! Another thing, you looked better before the nips and tucks, from what I can only assume, were done at Bill's laser treatment facility. One more thing, I'm now working as a patient advocate, and that is extremely rewarding!! Have a great Holiday Season!!. Take care of yourself, Andy, because anxiety is debilitating. Pam.
