Yair David Kissin, M.D., is board-certified in orthopedic surgery and in sports medicine, with a specific interest in conditions of the knee. He serves as vice chairman of the department of orthopedic surgery at Hackensack University Medical Center. Dr. Kissin’s clinical research interests include robotic knee replacement, and he was one of only six surgeons selected to participate in the trial and development of the TSolution One robotic knee replacement system. The TSolution One system received FDA approval in October 2019, and Dr. Kissin performed the first case in New Jersey with the latest generation of this technology in 2020. Dr. Kissin treats patients of all ages and with a wide variety of conditions, from acute injuries to chronic degenerative conditions. He maintains an open line of communication with his patients so they fully understand their condition and their plan of care. Dr Kissin is a great, accomplished and knowledgeable doctor. He was very thorough with me and his bedside manner is supreme to say the least. I had a very complicated total knee replacement and came out of it with flying colors thanks to Dr Kissin. Also his office staff is exceptional and very organized. Kristy is the PA for Dr Kissin and she is outstanding as well. There is no need to go to NYC when we have a tremendous Dr right here in NJ.

Dr. Kissin is good, but his staff is very unprofessional and they don't help patients at all.

Dr Kissin replaced my right knee. And I was extremely pleased with the great outcomes. The surgery went well, my recovery was rapid. Dr Kissin and his team took great care of me both before and after the surgery. I was very confident in Dr Kissin and when you are having major surgery that is so very important. Plus he has a great bedside manner which really puts you at ease.

Replaced my knee several yrs ago. Had good range of motion immediately after and with pt i am fully functional. Great dr and nice man

Dr Kissin has exceeded all of my expections. He has a fantastic personality, excellent bedside manner and he even called me the night prior to surgery to ask if I was ready! He answered all my questions in detail prior and after the surgery. I would / have recommended him to all my friends and family who have knee issues.

Dr. Kissin replaced my knee! Minimal discomfort. He is a very good doctor. I am in the medical field and highly recommend him!!

Doctor Kissin is the go to doctor for broken Femur. My son broke his femur in a football game and needed not only immediate surgery but he is 6-6 and needed a extra long rod . Doctor Kissin took over the insane emergency room situation like a Chef getting out 300 meals at once . Then performed the long surgery , all the time keeping us informed of when and what he was going to do. Follow up visits excellent . Cannot thank him enough to this day ... the accident was 6 years ago and we still talk about how it went from insane to calm once he arrived

Dr. Kissin repaired my torn meniscus just two days ago. He personally called me the evening before the surgery and again yesterday to see how I was doing. His care for his patients is unbelievable and he is amazing. Today is day two post-op and I have to tell you I have no pain, almost 100% range of motion and no discomfort or swelling. I cannot say enough about his level of expertise. His bedside manner is also second to none. I can't say enough good things about him!
