I would like to tell you about my Doctor Yasmin Akhtar. I am very impressed with her as she is very interested on my health. She has brought my A1C down from 8 to 6.2. Being I am Diabetic that is excellent she has also brought down other things. I really like here as a Doctor she takes the time with you. Her office is staff is very friendly also

She is a world class physician with incredible bed side manner. She brings a lifetime of experience and expertise while having the touch of southern hospitality that a town like Okeechobee deserves. Even though the wait times could get a little long, I highly recommend Dr. Akhtar to anyone seeking a great loving doctor who cares about you as a person!

As a doctor herself, she is a decent doctor as far as spending time with you and answering your questions.

Dr. Akhtar truly cares about the patient, she actually spends time with the patient unlike many others. My wait time was very short, and the staff was very courteous. I would defiantly recommend this doctor!

it really is because the other physicainsmake you wait longer, and only see youfor two mintues, and charge you alot of cash, I enjoy my doctor and she is verycaring and really cares about what is wrong with you. The staff is a bit sassy, but they did get rid of some.
