Dr. Yasser Hadj Ousman, MD

Dr O was the best, sorry to see him leave. Why can't Meritus and Wellspan keep endocrinologist? I have had 16 different doctors in 14 years. WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON! PA is full of fat diabetic's, seems to me there should be a bunch working.

Would rate him among the.best of all the docs I've worked with.

Best endocrinologist ever very knowledgeable and a good listener communication is excellent replies to emails in less than an hour I’ve been to few doctors before I met him leaving each appointment hopeless of feeling any better until I met him and he suggested surgery which was the best decision in my case which saved my eyes also from getting worse due to grave disease the doctor before him suggested radioactive iodine to treat my case I found out latter that could’ve made my eyes worst and possible blindness Thank goodness I found him he saved me

I have moved out of his service area but continue to drive over 3 hours each way to see Dr. Ousman. He has corrected my Thyroid issues and I will never find another doctor quite so good.

Dr. Ousman was on time for my appointment and most pleasant in his manner. He listened attentively, examined me carefully, and answered all my questions patiently. He was kind, respectful and unhurried - quite remarkable nowadays. Highly recommended!

I waited 2 1/2 months for my 1st appointment because it was the only new patient date they gave me. 2 days before my appointment, I receive a call stating that the doctor had to cancel all his appointments for that day! I was very upset and asked to be accommodated to next week but the doctor said NO. Only date they had next available was over a MONTH away!! Ridiculous.

I would like to say that I was weary of Dr.'s in Woodbridge because of only using Dr.'s in Fairfax County for YEARS. Dr. Ousman put me at ease w/ his warm, pleasant greeting. He explained all of my bloodwork, answered all of my questions and sent me for my biospy the same day!!! He even called the very next day (instead of a nurse or email) to give me my results. Dr. Ousman and his staff were excellent!! The Dr. in Fredericksburg where I had the fine needle aspiration done is another story. He was impersonal, when taken back I felt as if I were in a rats lab, I had to sign papers in case of bruising ( I had two previous fine needle aspirations and NEVER had bruising). There was nothing given for pain and he went to work, it was very painful, my neck hurt for the rest of the day and I still have bruising! I won't be going back to that office...

I have been a patient of Dr Ousman for several years after relocating to VA. He is an excellent, knowledgeable and caring doctor and more importantly, his office staff is always friendly, professional and very accommodating.
