Summary
Dr. Zheng graduated from Shanghai Medical University and did her initial training in Internal Medicine. She was recruited by the prestigious Harvard University School of Public Health and completed a research fellowship in 1991. Dr. Zheng subsequently went on to obtain a Masters Degree in Pharmacology from Vanderbilt University. Her strong desire to return to patient care, led her to complete an internship in General Surgery and a second residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center and The Hospital of Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She has served as the primary physician for the Northeast Center for Special Care in Lake Katrine, New York and more recently as Attending Physician at Staten Island University Hospital. Dr. Zheng's vast experience in rehabilitation medicine, internal medicine and pharmacology brings great depth to the care she provides to her patients, particularly in the inpatient acute and subacute rehabilitation …settings.
