Dr. David Manevitz, DO

I was attacked by a mentally ill employee working for Mr. Manevitz on May 1st 2019 at his East Meadow Office at 1975 Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow, NY. I was there to see him regarding a No Fault claim w GEICO. This employee went crazy on me and would not let me see the doctor. He swung a chair at me and I left the office, fearing for my safety. I phoned my sister on a cell phone and drove home, shaking. My sister phoned the Med Source office that mad the appointment. I have yet to receive an apology from this doctor or Med Source or GEICO and legal action is pending.

One star is one star too many. Most obnoxious doctor I have ever had the displeasure of meeting and a prevaricateur to boot.

Had an IME exam with Dr Manevitz and it is by far my worst experience with any medical professional! He is extremely impatient, rude & unprofessional even as a regular person, not to mention he is a doctor! I have never met a doctor that attack you when you are just trying to answer the questions properly, and he gets frustrated easily when I was trying to recall my injury details, he would just yelled out “JUST SAY YES OR NO, I NEED AN ANSWER!” He even forced me to do some movement that caused me a lot of pain without showing any sympathy! Very disappointed with the way he treated the patient.
