Dr. Young Jae Ko, MD

Did not monitor my liver functions mowing I was prescribed pain killers that cause liver damage, now it's stage 3 and I only know now because I went to another doctor and asked for tests. My blood sugar went to 300+ and he just doubled my meds bad move not finding out why. He seams to be more interested in billing then medicine. I could go on with more problems but in Lancaster there is not much to choose from. Going back to Keck usc. Long drive but real doctors

Dr. Ko is a nice man, but the office staff is inefficient and rude. I was a 30-year patient, but no more. Sorry, Dr. Ko. If I can't trust your office to relay correct information when ordering the correct refills and dosages and medicine, I no longer have use for your services.

Dr Ko admitted me to the hospital with intestinal problems last year . He took wonderful care of me and was always there, checking on me . I was very sick with a chance of not making it . But Dr Ko did not give up . And today I am fine . But I know if anything should go wrong that Dr Ko will be there for me with the best care .Thank you Dr

This doctor gave my husband at least 5 more years of life after 2 other pulmonary specialists wrote him off, one of which was at UCLA. He is caring, patient and conservative, and I have continued to use him as my doctor for anther 12 years for his internist abilities. I am an RN and very particular about what doctor I use. I highly recommend Dr. Ko.

He was the on call doctor for my father in the ER and then subsequently who my father had to deal with after he was admitted. This jerk was never around, when he finally appeared it was for less than 2minutes. He didnt ask or answer questions and completely ignored what our family was telling him about my fathers long term health conditions. My dad would jokingly call Dr Ko the vampire( before he passed away) because he only was around when Dad was allegedly asleep and snuck out before he could have any doctor patient interaction.

Called for an appointment and staff member Darlene put me on hold several time and then hung up the phone. I called back and again staff member Darlene answered the phone. I requested an appointment and she asked if I could call back later because they were at lunch. The story goes on but I don't I never got my appointment.

I have Aspergillosis which I had trouble getting diagnosed and treated before seeing Dr. Ko. Dr. Ko knew all about this lung disease and gave me effective treatment to manage my condition.

Dr. Ko diagnosed my Mom's cancer. He was direct but also caring. He treated my Mom as I asked him to even as she was dying. His staff is lovely and always treated us very well.
