Dr. Yvonne Gomez-Carrion is a surgeon, yes. But she is also an alchemist. From start to finish of my hysterectomy, she had an exquisite mix of bedside manner and surgical brilliance. She is all about treating the whole woman. She is humble, modest, and extraordinary. Her staff obviously adores her, and she treats them very well as well. I have a vaginal hysterectomy, minimally invasive, and was feeling better within three days. I can't state strongly enough that if you have any need for such surgery, she is the one to go to. She's also super funny, warm, kind, and completely puts you at ease. I am a scientist so read her pathology report afterwards, which she kindly provided. She is thorough, careful, conservative, and methodical about her surgery and pathology afterwards. You could not ever do better that Dr. Gomez-Carrion, and I sing her praises wide and far. Thanks to her, I am pain, worry, and uterus free, YAY!

The Best Doctor in Boston! Dr. Gomez-Carrion treats me and I know all her patients with the utmost respect...but most of all she listens and provided me with the best medical care ever! I highly recommend this awesome doctor. Her medical knowledge and commitment is second to none! A true Blessing!

Dr Gomez-Carrion performed a hysterectomy after many treatments for adenomyosis. She was great. Explain everything in detail and answer all my questions. She gave me all the options for treatment. It help me to make the best choice for myself.

This doctor was very recommended and seems good when you meet her. But she used my girlfriend for lots of expensive and unneeded tests and then wouldn't treat her anymore and lied to us about what was planned. My gf is very upset. Don't be fooled, go somewhere else.

Oh my goodness! Dr. Gomez-Carrion has save my life. I had to have an emergency surgery, due to pain and location... And the wonderful doc msde it all so possible. Im day 3 post op, and finally have my life back. Dr. Gomez-Carrion you are the best!!!!! I'd highly recommend you.

Dr. Gomez-Carrion very kindly treated me for uterine fibroids in my early 30s by multiple-myomectomy. In my early 40s I presented to her with acute symptoms of disabling pelvic pain, heavy periods with spotting, and painful bowel function. I revisited her as symptoms worsened. Upon advisement of pain management with ibuprofen, I consulted with another specialist. Appropriate tests were ordered and advanced endometriosis was diagnosed which had compromised the colon wall.

I've technically been a patient of Dr. Gomez-Carrion's for about a year, but I never met her. Not even on my first appointment. I've only ever seen MaryBeth, her nurse practitioner. I'm fine with seeing an NP for routine things, but I was having moderate pain in my groin and suspected ovarian cysts. I was sent for an ultrasound and saw MaryBeth to follow-up. She told me my ultrasound was completely normal and, based on that, it was safe to insert my IUD that day. I went home and read the report from the radiologist, and the report said that I had a hemorrhagic corpus luteum, which is an ovarian cyst that filled with blood and burst. Because MaryBeth had said everything was fine, I had the IUD inserted and was therefore suffering from even more pain and cramping on top of the burst cyst. The only positive thing is that the IUD insertion went well. I'm not sure why my cyst wasn't caught or why I never actually saw Dr. Gomez-Carrion, but I did not have a good experience here.

Dr. Gomez Carrion did my myomectomy and I am so happy SHE did it. Surgery was shorter than expected, im healing so well and the scar/incision is minimal. I love her!

I am a mother of soon-to-be three girls and have gone to Dr. Gomez for two of the three. Love her and MaryBeth as well. They listen to you and try to help no matter the issue or cause. Amazing staff all around. I will go to Dr. Gomez as long as I continue to have children! Can't say enough positive things. I really don't have any negatives...none at all!
