Dr. Yao never supported me while in labor. She checked on me once during my inducement with an epidural which never took. She never asked the anesthesiologist to re do the epidural which resulted in an unnecessary c-section. Nice first baby experience I won't forget.

This OB was more interested in delivering as many babies as she could before she left for vacation than she ever was in mother or baby. Based on the experience I had with this doctor, she does not practice evidence-based care. There is less wait time here because there are less customers, not because this is a well-run office. Put plainly, I was tortured while under her care. I would recommend birthing on your own rather than with this doctor. Better yet, find a midwife who actually knows what childbirth is. Dr Yao is a surgeon.

Dr. Yao has a sharp mind and communicates well. She lets you know where she's coming from, finds out where you stand, and then she lays out the options. I feel safe and secure in her good care and am so glad she's my doctor!

One night on call for Centegra Medical hospital, Dr. Yao saved my life. Long story very short, she had a suspicion of a mass growing in my uterus. My insurance gave me the run around but Dr. Yao sent in the sample to the Mayo Clinic despite the insurance. It turned out I had a 1 in a 100 million rare cancer (placental site trophoblastic tumor). She recognized it, sent it for confirmation, advocated for me, and urged me to seek immediate medical treatment from an oncologist who was more familiar with it. SHE SAVED MY LIFE!

This will be our second baby delivered by Dr. Yao and I feel very confident in her abilities. She is always very kind, friendly, and competent.

Disparaging to patients and their family. Very uncaring and spiteful. Out of the 4 doctors currently in her practice, she is the only one who doesn't use perineal massage, instead going for episiotomy :( She seems to enjoy dominating patients to show who is in charge.
