Dr. Zahida Iqbal, MD

Dr. Iqbal was so sweet. I had a very hard time locating a physician that would take my cousins insurance and had probably called like 20 different offices. I wasn't expecting much when I went in but was pleasantly surprised. She greeted us as if she was greeting an old friend which really threw me off and I was actually wondering if I knew her from somewhere lol. Anyway she did a standard checkup, caught up my cousin on his immunizations, and had excellent bedside manner. She was very thorough and spent quality time with us explaining everything. I would recommend Dr. Iqbal to everyone!

I will never take my kids to anyone else. Dr. Iqbal caught a rare disease in my newborn that other doctors had missed. She arranged follow-up care and even called me on a weekend to check in and see how he was doing. Wonderful pediatrician.

I love Dr. Iqbal! I have been taking my daughters to her for 4 years and they adore her! She is the best!

Dr. Iqbal has been my child's pediatrician ever since he was born 10 years ago. My girlfriend and I were 16 at the time and were not expecting a child, and honestly, we were apprehensive about coming in to see her. However, as soon as we arrived, Dr. Iqbal put us at ease. She was extremely supportive and nonjudgmental about our situation and provided not only medical, but emotional support for us as well. Dr. Iqbal really helped a young couple who had gotten themselves in a sticky situation and passed no judgment whatsoever, instead validating us and making sure my girlfriend received the support she needed throughout her pregnancy. Over the years, Dr. Iqbal has provided excellent care for our baby boy who just turned 10 last week. No matter what, she always greets all three of us with a big hug every time we come to the office to see her. Wonderful, beautiful physician - I wholeheartedly recommend her.

WOW! I can honestly say Dr. Iqbal is the sweetest, most compassionate doctor I have ever met! I unexpectedly became pregnant last year, and Dr. Iqbal helped me through the entire process, both physically and emotionally. When my baby boy was born, she helped me from day 1 and even went out of her way to call and check up on me when he got sick! I wouldn't be able to provide for my child were it not for Dr. Iqbal. She is the best pediatrician in Texas and I thank her from the bottom of my heart!

I have honestly never met a physician as caring and compassionate as Dr. Iqbal. When my daughter was sick, I brought her in to Dr. Iqbal for a checkup for the first time. I'd heard amazing things about Dr. Iqbal from many people and was having problems with daughter's old pediatrician so I decided to see what the hype was about for myself. Dr. Iqbal is such a warm, caring person that my daughter felt instantly comfortable, the first time she had ever had this experience with a doctor. Dr. Iqbal addressed all my concerns and took the time out to hear everything I had to say, even minor issues. I cannot recommend this physician enough. She is the most compassionate person you will ever meet and is well-suited for her job. I agree with the previous poster who said that other doctors make you feel like a number whereas Dr. Iqbal makes you feel like an actual person and shows you how much she cares to prove it.

I have been going in every month to vaccinate my baby, because I don't like doing too many in one go. Even when I make an appointment, I have to wait between 2 and 2.5 hours to even be seen!!

Dr. Iqbal has been my doctor for the last 6 years, she is the best in Mesquite.

My overall experience was very good. At times waiting period is long but I like the doctor.
