Dr. Zaki Lababidi

I have always respected doctor Labadidi. But the staff that works in the office are very irresponsive and take no ownership to their mistakes. I have been going to this doctor for over a year. I think the office and scheduling is very outdated and very inefficient. I requested a renewal of a prescription over 9 days ago. The pharmacy has sent a prescription refills numerous times with fax communication and received 4 confirmations from the doctors office that they received the request. But upon visiting the doctor the employee directly lied stating they never received this. The pharmacy provided proof they did. The comment was that they needed to see me for a renewal. Remind you this is a serious blood thinner to be taken as I had surgery 30 days ago. No one from the doctors office bothered to call a Heart patient to say i would need to come by. After being out of Warfarin for 8 days I took it upon myself to call. Upon reaching the office I was able to set up an appointment. Once I got… there I was told I needed to come back in less than two days. I had a work conflict so asked for a Monday appointment. They said no my INR was too low. Would that surprise anyone? No as going with out the medicine would cause my INR to be lower than expected. Of course not. Once i requested an explanation I was told i needed to find a different doctor for questioning their inefficiencies. This is a life threating issue and could have developed blood clots. In fact i have had recent chest pains. Probably related to that. But I'm not a doctor. This office is very irresponsible and took no ownership. The appointment scheduling is horrible as they set up three appointments in error since the first of the year. Items like we would like to schedule your anaplastic. This was two weeks after they performed the surgery. It is unfortunate as the doctor is good and the staff is horrible. Please make sure you get every thing in writing as their records are very poor. Be careful when visiting this office.

The office and doctor were good. When the billing was messed up on their end it has been a nightmare trying to get them to fix it. One person will acknowledge the problem but never gets it taken care of.

I had severe arrhythmia - PVCs. I ended up in Chandler hospital several years ago because my heart rate dropped into the 30s for a few hours. Dr Zaki Lababidi was the heart doctor on call. He visited me in the emergency room and performed some tests. He told me to visit his office after I was released. I went to his office and he set me up with the Arizona Arrhythmia Specialists. They performed a heart ablation to short circuit the spots that caused the irregular heartbeat. I have been fine since. I made follow up visits to Dr Lababidi for 3 or 4 years. At that point, he said no longer necessary to come unless I was detecting a problem. After seeing a few other heart doctors previously, he was the first heart doctor that was able to help me and send in the right direction. He is quite friendly and is dedicated to doing his job well. I will continue to see him if the need arises in the future. Originally there was a long wait in his office for visits, but he was able to get it on track.… The last 2 or 3 visits, I do not believe I waited longer than 5 minutes in his busy office.

I got Dr. Lababidi by accident. I had a heart attack and was rushed to Chandler Hospital and was lucky enough to get Dr. Lababidi. I have received excellent care and guidance from Dr. Lababidi and I Thank Him with my heart.

After trying several doctors in Gilbert, I finally struck gold. I love this guy.

Very knowledgeable physician and great staff who know what their doing. Very efficient.

Dr, Lababidi understands me and my condition, and is awesomely helpful, as are his assistants. I did not choose him, I was given to him in my flat-on-my-back condition, and do not remember meeting him until after my double bypass. His guidance from my followups has been practical and enlightening.

Was ventilated and diagnosed with congestive heart failure. After discharge from hospital I was told the swelling in my legs was because I'm fat. That swelling cost me three days in the hospital to reverse the diuretic damage and depletion of potassium. This is med 101 stuff. His ultra sound guy reminded me of my gut causing the swelling (edema) in my legs.
