Dr. Ziad Adel Hage

Outstanding surgeon. He is a true miracle physician. Extremely knowledgeable, very professional and so good at what he does. He performed my brain surgery and removed my tumor and cured me. I would highly recommend Dr. Hage, he is exceptional and truly gifted. My experience and surgery with Dr. Hage and his team at Novant was excellent.

My first and initial visit with this doctor and his staff was great. It then went downhill and fast. Regarding the office, his nurses are constantly changing and all the good ones have left. Not sure why but that is concerning. So, my supposed to be “ONE” cranial operation turned into A TOTAL OF FOUR BRAIN SURGERIES by the time this clown was done butchering me. Then after me being in the hospital under his care and medicinal direction, for weeks at a time (on Dilaudid and Fentanyl) - he came to my room to make a claim that I was addicted to opioids. Hmm, perhaps I was requesting so much medicine because I was in tremendous pain from all the additional operations bc you couldn’t get it right on the first try, second try, or third try. Anyway, I had to speak with an addictions counselor and prove to Dr Hage that I was not. It gets worse. After he was done spinning knives around in my head 4 times, he left me high and dry. I never saw him again. Even when I made an appointment to see… HIM, it was always his NP Meg that came to see me. She wasn’t a problem but I wanted to see my brain surgeon, especially after that weId been thru together., I urge anyone considering this practice/physician to reconsider. He makes you feel so special and important to him at first just to get you reeled in and then after he operates, he will throw you to the curb. He’s gotten his pay out from insurance for all of his Armani and Lux vehicles, so he doesn’t need you anymore. ZERO out of ZERO for this “Edward Scissorhands” from me!

Dr.Hage was referred to me for MoyaMoya.i was not sure about who to choose. After meeting him , my husband and I felt confident in him. He was very knowledgeable and had already done many Moya Moya surgeries. So far I had a 10 to 12 hour surgery on my left side. I will have the right side done in about 30 days. I felt like he added more years to my life. He is very nice and explains everything so I can understand what is going on .I would definitely recommend him.

Arrogant doc

Dr. Hage was referred to my husband and I when I suddenly started having severe headaches for almost 2 weeks. The doctors where I live didn't know and couldn't diagnose what I had. It was a pituitary tumor which started swelling, bleeding and dying. Apparently it's a rare thing to happen. Only my optometrist knew something was wrong, not the neurosurgeon. Fortunately the doctor had the sense to refer me to Dr. Hage in Charlotte. I lost my peripheral vision completely, but thanks to Dr. Hage's incredible skill as a doctor, I survived the surgery and can see at least some. The damage had already been done due to 3 misdiagnoses before I ever got to see Dr. Hage. He'll always be the best doctor around in my opinion!

Dr Ziad is Professional, knowledgeable, attentive and caring. We had a great visit with him, he explained all the results from the tests, gave us option as well suggestions and many times stopped to see if we had any questions. His office followed up quickly with everything that he suggested for us. This is exactly the kind of doctor we were looking for. God bless!

Dr. Hage saved my mothers life at Missions ICU in Asheville. I can't even begin to thank him enough for giving my mama a chance to heal from her stroke. She still has a long road ahead but with the help of Dr. Hage she can give it all she has. Thank you so much Dr Hage!!! ??????
