I decided to fire my internist because as part of a large group, he doesn't think for himself.Rather he and his group consider themselves bound by the diktats of Fauci and the CDC. Dr. Shahala is a breath of fresh air, Great sense of humor. Courteous and pleasant staff. Looking forward to a long relationship.

My former doctor retired so I asked a neighbor for a referral. He recommended Dr Shahla. Very glad I "found" him. His office in Bonita is a lot closer for me. The office workers and nurses are very efficient. I've only been twice but have been impressed with the fact that I'm actually seeing the doctor at the time scheduled. He's friendly and knowledgable. Recommend.

I was a patient in the office having a heart attack. He was quick to recognize the symptoms, did a EKG, called 911, gave me two baby aspirins. I was in denial but he truly saved my life.
