Mother died during surgery.

Being a patient of Dr. Zoyla was an absolute nightmare. She agreed to perform two surgeries on me which turned out were not her area of expertise. I had to pay out of pocket to get them corrected. She made me feel like I could trust her and then I was very disappointed. She also dismissed all my concerns in multiple post op visits. Her techniques and stitches left my skin broken, scarred and in need of repair which cost me even more out of pocket. Her staff is relatively nice however the billing department never returns phone calls and my office visits were coded incorrectly and therefore causing me to owe more money out of pocket/fight insurance claims. I would NEVER recommend anyone to her!!!

just have surgery (Hysterectomy). I am so grateful Dra. Almeida herself performed it..i had years with big fibroids to the point i looked like a 7 month pregnant. The few doctors i visited prior to her wanted to open my stomach region from top to down not to mention all the drama and discomfort they made feel. Dra Almeida treat me with compasión a emotion i needed to feel from a Doctor after my past experiences. She gave the option i wanted to hear which this time i did not ask( i accepted whatever the surgery was necessary ) but surprisingly Dra.Almeida offer me to let my ovaries if they were in good condition. She even said it was better to leave them. She did the laparoscopy to me . She was definitely an Angel for me . My only complaint is why i did not go earlier with her. Thank you Dra Almeida.

Dr . Almeida is a great doctor / human being . I would had never had it no other way than to have her do my surgery . I’ve done 8 surgeries and doing this one with Dr. Almeida is yet the best one . Very nice , very patient and take pride in what she does . She have the most beautiful smile that will light up the room each time she enters it . I’m recovering greatly. Her staff was also awesome individuals and the anesthesiology was the best . Thank you again Dr Almeida and staff . May god continue to work through your knowledge and through your hands .

As a new patient she made feel so intimidated, uncomfortable, and very rushed!!! Definitely not a people person! The staff are wonderful though. If I have to wait for months for a much much better OBGyn then that’s the way I ‘m going for! I’ll be more sick here with the aggravation! Such a waste of my money and time off from work!!!!

I have nothing but awesome things to say about the experience I had with Dr. Almeida, I went in for my consultation and the staff was great. Dr. Almeida answered all my questions thoroughly. She was very thoughtful and understanding of my situation and made me feel comfortable. I had no complications healing from my procedure and recovery time minimal. She took her time explaining what steps I should take to heal faster and made sure I was okay. I would definitely recommend her to anyone and if I ever needed to would absolutely return!

I had an infection and this doctor told me that I needed a hysterectomy right away. She lacked compassion or sympathy especially seeing that I was a young girl wanting to have kids. I got a second opinion from a wonderful surgeon and he was able to save my uterus. If you ever get this lady as a doctor, stay clear and seek a second opinion.

First appt with Dr. was easy and fast. No need for a long one, my gynecologist who referred me explained most. Surgery fine, 3rd day of recovery started feeling back to old self. Two weeks in was having terrible pain so I made appt. 4 or 5 appointment later with only pelvic exams being done I realized I was no longer a patient. Told they didn't "feel" anything wrong. Well you might need something more diagnostic then a pelvic. Being told go home take ibuprofen. Well what do most people take at home for pain, ibuprofen and it didn't help the pain and also didn't cure the problem. I was told by a billing friend that you get 90 days of post op care that you nor your insurance is charged for because it is part of the package. Since I was taking up time and energy for a money maker I realized they didn't care about my post op as long as I wasn't bleeding to death. And even though it is a small incision, you still experience real pain, yet I don't think this doctor believes in pharmaceutical… grade pain relief.

Very careful search lead me to this doctor. She was great. She knows her stuff. Staff very sweet and helpful. I give her a thumbs up.
