La Donna started her nursing career 27 years ago upon receiving her bachelor's degree in Nursing from East Tennessee State University. She then went to work as a home health nurse until she obtained her master's degree in Nursing from Old Dominion University. La Donna has spent the last 18 years working as a Family Nurse Practitioner with her most recent experience as administrator for a home health and hospice agency. Her favorite hobby is spending time with her husband Jim and her two daughters Jordan and Mackenzie. La Donna's oldest daughter Jordan is a second-year pharmacy student at Appalachian College of Pharmacy and holds a degree in Public Health. Mac is currently attending Virginia Tech pursuing her undergraduate degree in Public Health and plays softball for the Hokies. Clinch Valley Physicians Associates is where La Donna started her career as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and she is excited to return.
