Dr. Zia U Wahid

I worked with Dr.Wahid several years ago treating individuals with very complex needs both in their physical health, mental health, and most areas of their lives outside of health related needs. He is the most interesting and nontraditional doctor I have met and worked with- always approaching his clients as if they were guests in his home and treating everyone with more respect than many of us give oneanother regardless of the type of relationship we share. He is innovative and encouraging both to fellow colleagues and those he treats. Time is not a factor for Dr.Wahid, when he is with a client that is all he is focused on and he will work as long as he needs to in order to treat everyone how he feels they need to be tended to- in the setting we worked in time was not an issue for us like it would be in a traditional outpatient practice or clinic. Amazing man, amazing doctor, and even more amazing mentor and asset to those around him. He was always in a great mood even when the rest… of us were under tremendous stress and if he needed your help he would come to you in the most gracious of ways as if he was there to serve you despite the hierarchy that existed. Truly a humble man and dedicated servant to anyone he is able to help, never refusing to help someone with anything they needed even if it were completely outside of his realm of duties and he would always be sure to consider outside needs for everyone he treated, often meaning I (and others we worked with) had some interesting challenges to try and solve. He knew how to treat the WHOLE person and even watched over his staff, often checking on us and suggesting things if he had concerns of any sort. I would work with him again in a heart beat and have often wished for those days to return. A rare gem in the world of medicine.

The most caring, personable, well mannered, excellent doctors I have ever dealt with! Knows what you need before you know about. Wonderful!!!!
