Paige Wootten DNP, LMHC is a New York State licensed mental health counselor and doctoral-prepared board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. At Curated Mental Health, Paige offers medication management and psychotherapy. She believes in a collaborative relationship that is characterized by transparency, individualized goal-setting, and self-empowerment. Paige believes in allowing an individual to define what wellness looks like for them and operates from a holistic approach, incorporating elements of cognitive therapy and interpersonal therapy to explore how thoughts contribute to reactions and patterns. Paige aims to bridge the gap between the mind/body by incorporating medications when indicated. Paige earned her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from University of Maryland, Baltimore County, her Master’s degree in mental health counseling from Hunter College, her Master’s degree in nursing from Columbia University, and her Doctorate degree in psychiatric mental health from …Columbia University. She has experience working with a variety of populations, including individuals affected by domestic violence, mood/adjustment disorders, and severe and persistent mental illness. Paige also has a strong interest in sexual wellness, with coursework throughout her education focusing on gender roles and variations in sexual expression.
