Dr. Adewunmi Bankole

Adewunmi Bankole is a board-certified mental health nurse practitioner. Adewunmi provides holistic patient care, focusing not only on managing symptoms but on understanding each patient as a complete human being. His goal is to help patients feel heard and respected. He manages their treatment with compassion, understanding, and careful attention. When working with Adewunmi, patients can expect a provider who will listen to their struggles without judgment or rushing to conclusions. He carefully incorporates patient history, biopsychosocial factors, and all symptoms reported into a treatment plan the patient can feel good about.

Adewunmi provides medication management and psychoeducation care. He also can refer patients for cognitive behavior therapy, interpersonal therapy, relaxation techniques, and dialectical behavioral therapy. He encourages positive coping skills and prefers to engage in therapy before introducing medication into patient treatment plans. Adewunmi treats ADHD, …anxiety, depression, grief, obsessive-compulsive disorder, insomnia, PTSD, mood disorders, personality disorders, and more. Outside of work, Adewunmi enjoys working out, playing soccer, swimming, and spending time with family. He is fluent in English and Yoruba.
