From young age, Ms. Burns has had a passion for caring for others. She began her nursing career as a registered nurse (RN) in 2007. Work in the ICU led her to develop a special interest in wound care. She brings to Willis-Knighton 12 years of relevant experience, working at wound care centers and long-term care facilities. Working in these environments, she developed an interest in geriatric care as well. She finds wound care to be a very rewarding field because she has an opportunity to help improve the quality of life for her patients.
Ms. Burns enjoys traveling, experiencing new foods, and any outdoor activity that involves water. And she finds all of these even more enjoyable when shared with her family and friends.
