He tailors individual treatment plans for each child and works to make sure the visits and therapy are appropriate and enjoyable, and that the strategies can be implemented at home.
Dr. Rosen’s research and clinical interests focus primarily on emotional dysregulation and ADHD in children, including developing and testing new treatments for emotions and frustration in children with ADHD. He has authored or co-authored over 30 peer-reviewed articles in premier research journals regarding ADHD, emotional development and peer relations. Dr. Rosen is the primary author of “Managing Frustration for Children with ADHD,” the first evidenced-based intervention focusing on emotion regulation difficulties in children with ADHD.
